Have been trying to locate an episode of Madigan called London Beat with Richard Widmark and George Cole.

Not really a Britmovie thing but as it was filmed over here with George Cole just wondered if any collectors have it.

    Trades etc welcome

    MADIGANTHE LONDON BEATRichard Widmark

The scene is a huge traffic jam on one of Londons bridges and Mr Richard Widmark Is trying to sort it out. He screams at me, Get that thing out of here Buddy

(Does he not know the Bedford van Im still driving has been Directed by Mr Alfred Hitchcock himself) and he calls it That thing. I was going to shout back Remember The Alamo but I remember he died in that film.

I do meet up with him in ten years time, Ill have a word with him then

    Hi Aitch,I'm honoured !

Possibly best then that you didn't remind him of the Alamo, you know how sensitive these Americans can be despite the lack of respect shown to the Bedford and by reference to Mr Hichcock himself.

Would love to see this even more now,so will keep searching.Had a look at your website, did you never stop working?Your seem to be everywhere.

    Cheers,Jax

Hi Aitch, lucky for us that you had such responsibilties to bear then, not to mention having to feed the wife and kids as well.

Look foreward to doing a spot of Aitch spotting, been watching you since hiding behind sofas with Dr Who and never realised.

I bet some Aitch addict has most of your appearances- wonder if they've got my Madigan!

Talkin of George Cole I was trying to find Green Shoes. You weren't in that as well were you?It looks like you made an appearance in virtually all the old classic TV progs.

Thanks for getting back ,you're a gent

Cheers (literally as have a full glass in hand, though not for long)

    Aitch,
    Hello,

In this episode ( LONDON BEAT ) do you remember if you've seen a grey rolls royce silver shadow ? Can the number plate be seen as well ?

Finally got hold of a copy of this show and delighted to see a few uncredited cameos from the likes of Irene Handel, Alan Lake and Tommy Godfrey
