I thought they used all the Peter Sellers gaffes and outtakes in Trail of the Pink Panther (1982)
Steve
Does anyone have any of the outtakes that were used for The Pink Panther film series but only with Peter Sellers and not the recent Steve Martin movie ?
I am looking specifically for the It'll Be Alright on the Night episode which included Peter talking about the Pink Panther and then the outtakes are shown and any other outtakes that you may have regarding the Pink Panther Film series,I have the Pink Panther DVD Box set which included some of the outtakes but not all of them.
I am also looking for the 1995 BBC2's Arena series broadcast called The Peter Sellers Story, a three-part history of the brilliant Actor, also The Peter Sellers Story - As He Filmed It, a kind of alternative mix of the original which ran approx. 90mins.
I am looking for any on DVDR and I have all sorts of stuff to trade.
Thanks.

I have at least one programme from the 1995 series you mentioned still on video tape. I'll dig it out over the weekend and make you a DVD copy if you'd like.
Cheers

Thanks again.![]()
I'm pretty sure I have an edited two hour version of the three part Arena doco. I could be wrong but I think I taped it off something called UKArena (??). It's a shame they had to do it because again if memory serves they edited out things like Sellers on the Steve Allen show (playing the drums) and maybe an amusing bit where he's playing the ukulele whilst dressed in a Beatle wig. Or did I just dream the last bit.
If this is of any use to you don't hesitate to ask / get in touch.

UK Arena was a short lived arts channel. Shame it was so short lived, it was quite good.
On their opening night, just around Christmas 1997, they showed a documentary that they had made about Powell and Pressburger (called "A Matter of Michael & Emeric") followed by A Matter of Life and Death and The Red Shoes then Black Narcissus

It'll be Alright on the Night episode is from 1980 if that helps anybody ?
also The Peter Sellers Story - As He Filmed It, a kind of alternative mix of the original which ran approx. 90mins.
Just thought you might like to know that BBC4 will be repeating this documentary on Monday the 17th of March.
