The girl in the photo is actually Natasha Pyne. This is Ann Holloway:

From her Spotlight profile maybe? Credit - The Actors Compendium.

As it happens, I'm up to the final episode of Father, Dear Father on DVD. What a wonderful series. Easily in my Top 10 list of British sitcoms.

Father and Daughters in Other Roles

I recently saw Ann in Gazette, recorded in 1968. This was surely her last screen appearance before being cast as Karen. She had another recurring role soon after it ended, in Emmerdale Farm. As far as I know, all of her episodes are on DVD (Volumes 3 and 4 I think).

'Sister' Natasha Pyne has turned up in other parts as well, including the ITC shows Jason King and The Adventurer. Her usual cheerful self in those but not the later Van Der Valk episodes, in which she played Barry Foster's secretary I think. Patrick Cargill was in the last Edgar Wallace film I watched, during the Easter weekend - as a killer butler! His victims were Sam Kydd, Finlay Currie and Anthony Sharp.

This, a play shown 17 July 1962, might well be Natasha Pyne's first television credit - she'd have just turned 16.

Her full name is Primula Mary Natasha Menzies Pyne, this is the only TV or Radio Times entry I've ever spotted where she used her real first name.

A TV Times feature (from the same issue of TV Times, as previous post on this Thread).
