Ah yes, the 1970's when life just seemed that little bit simpler. Patrick Cargill was quite a pinup in his day. My Mum certainly liked him! As to if you can get hold of this series, to tyhe best of my knowledge its never been released on DVD. Of course I could be wrong....

Hopefully they will arrive in due course, courtesy of Network DVD...

(Wasn't Natasha Pyne just scrumptious and 'dolly'?)

Are you speaking from experience Bats, or just of the character in the show ?

    Either way, do please elucidate...

It's taken from the Vincent Price/Peter Cushing film "MadHouse" in which Vincent Price plays Dr Death. Made in 1974 is has dated inevitably enough but it's nice to see Vincent and Peter working together.

I enjoyed it ... it's one of the 70s better Brit horror movies.

I am after the episode UNACCUSTOMED AS I AM from FATHER DEAR FATHER series 6 which features Leslie Phillips as a guest. It was shown on UK Gold a few years back. Does anyone have a copy?

    Thanks in antici pation

I think actors should get peanuts and be expected to dance for us on street corners whilst we chuck coppers at them.

No, I am not inconvenienced, I was just suggesting you may have more luck there. I have my own share of senior moments, believe me.

Patrick Cargill played No.2 in The Prisoner episode 'Hammer into anvil', one of the best episodes of the series. It showed his versatility as an actor who was always know primarily for his comedy roles. He's utterly convincing as the sadistic tormenter who No.6 pits his wits against, but he is ultimately destroyed.
