Its out on one of those Childrens film foundation dvds from Network DVD, along with another film called Go Kart Go.
Go Kart Go, coincidentally, has Frazer Hines. Plus Wilfred Brambell as a rag and bone man. Otherwse it's mostly of 'historical interest' but you can pick up the dvd pretty cheap on Amazon.
Go Kart Go inspired me and my mates to build our own go kart ..... I am lucky to be hear to tell the tale!
Building go carts from an old pram and some wood, is one things kids do not do anymore. I remember making several, and as we lived at the bottom of one hill and not far from the top of another, we were nearly killed by cars many times. Ahh the memories![]()
Also ... sliding down hills inside cardboard boxes. Fantastic!

Let's face it, we may complain that children today are too cossetted, but many of us are lucky to have survived our youth. I know I am
I was a regular visitor at A&E to be stitched up when I'd gash myself open in various ways, but I never broke any bones. And although most of us survived, there were a few of the generation that grew up around me that weren't so lucky
