Im guessing Miami from 40 years ago. The topography is very flat with no mountains or hills on the horizon just like Miami Florida.
Has anyone out there got any idea at all where this could be?
Spotting
The latest this could have been shot is 1967.

An unqualified opinion from Ady :
" . . . looks a bit South American/Mexican to me - look at the red roof tiles - I can hear Spanish being spoken . . . . " !!
- but I'd take what Ady says with a pinch of salt !

Good guess, but after Googling I'd have to say no.
TransitMiami -
A place on the Brazilian Coast?
I have to say close but no cigar - it was a long shot after trying every large coastal town from Los Angeles down to the Cape and back up to Miami... and you will probably not believe this until you check it out - but San Dios is Havana!
Obviously the gansters and hoods invested a lot on money into Cuba just before the revolution.
Thanks for all the help and some good clues.
I thought maybe Havana but dismissed that idea because it looked far too wealthy especially with that pool on the top of the building!! I believe you though! I read that producer Monty Bermann bought a fairly large library of film clips from around the world which he used to great effect to build the tv sreries "The Champions" around. Very clever!
Just like I said - MexiCuba ! - no cigar
