name='Able Abel']"Forgotten Dreams" is one of my favourites. There was an equally good cover of this song recorded by Cyril Stapleton & his Orchestra.

Geoff Love/Manuel & his Music of the Mountains, were also good providers of light music.

I agree with you about Geoff Love, a giant amongst British conductors /arrangers.

David Jacobs plays Geoff in his Manuel guise on his David Jacobs Collection show on Sundays.

Yes, I have occasionally heard M & HMOTM featured on David Jacobs radio show. I wish he would dig out and give Manuel's "The Honeymoon Song" a spin, on his show sometime. It's been years and years since I last heard this song played on the radio - it must be about 30 years ago, when Jimmy Saville, on Radio 1 on a Sunday afternoon, used to present a show similar to Pick of the Pops, which featured records from vintage pop music charts.
