    Hello all,

My friend Tim Flood is the son of the late British actor Gerald Flood and since Tim has little of his father's work on video or DVD, I've been providing him with material from my own collection.

However, I/we are keen to find some of Gerald's TV and film work from the 1950's & 60's (for instance, PATHFINDERS TO MARS, PATHFINDERS TO VENUS, THE RAT CATCHERS etc).

If anyone could help, we'd be very grateful.

    Many thanks

Hello again, Stephen. I responded to your 'Body in the Oil Drum' poser at 'Can You Name That Film?' earlier.

Judging by the unfamiliarity of the titles, and the lack of response here, it doesn't look good for a lot of Gerald's work. I copied these pages earlier, before I found this thread, in the hope someone might be interested or have a few memories of this forgotten show. The TVTimes article, from 29th January 1966, introduces readers to what was then a brand new show:

I hope you can read the text there. The Rat Catchers debuted on ITV just a few weeks after The Power Game, which is available complete on DVD, so there might be some hope of the former's existence. Being a natural pessimist, I don't expect positive news from those in-the-know. Good luck with your efforts to track down everything you want regarding Gerald. I liked him as the bemused Dr. Lambert in Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased).

Hello again. I forgot to point out that the previous cover is from the 7th January 1967 edition.

This one here is from 5th February 1966, the week the second show was broadcast.

Sorry, I've only just found this, otherwise I would have made it my second post.

Anyway, I think you'll agree that this a great picture of the main stars:

I always have him mixed up in my head with Charles Gray, for some reason - smoothly calculating or something I think...

That's fantastic, Moor. I was wondering if any episodes existed and sincerely hope there's more in the archives than this clip.

Thanks for finding and posting it.
