Would this be the restaurant you dined at?

Am I right in saying that Richard Hillmans death scene in Coronation Street was shot in the Deansgate area of Manchester, my wife and I went to a restaurant called Choices in that area. When I saw a clip of Hillmans death scene a few years later it did look like the same spot where the restaurant was.
I know Deansgate is not that far from the Granada studios.

I miss Coronation Street, it was shown on the USA cable channel back in the 1980's. One of the best shows I've ever seen in my life.

The way it is now you are not missing anything, I have had to give up watching it after 30 yrs its absolute rubbish and bares little resemblance to the program it once was.

In my opinion its one of the finest U.k. soaps ever produced and the longest running it Iwill be fifty years old in December 2010, as a matter of fact I will be fifty years old in March of that year.
I dont watch Coronation Street these days, but its still a competent well acted show and a true Biritish Institution. A real shame you cant get it on cable anmore.
