Always thought that Laurence Harvey gave one of his warmest/better performances in this one.

The Running Man is very under-rated IMHO. It's not a classic by any stretch but it is very entertaining and Harvey is at his campest!

I did watch 'The Running Man' again last night, more than 20 years after I first saw it, and was sadly disappointed. Not very memorable. It looked more like a Fifties film that should have been in black and white. I remember thinking when I saw it originally that there was something odd about the colour. But I liked the cast - Laurence Harvey (unwisely revealing his thin body), Alan Bates, and Lee Remick, who was probably the best part about it. UN-BEARABLE that all three are no longer with us.

I hope 'Life At The Top' is better!
