Can anyone help with the title of this play.
It was on TV one evening back in the early 1980's. It was set in England, and I think most of it took place in a big house out in the country which is home to a group of people belonging to a cult that believed in aliens and ufo's etc.
The cult members used to salute each other by holding their hands up to their foreheads, palm side out and fingers spread so that it looked like a star (they may have called them selves 'star worshippers' or something).
Later on in the story we discover that an alien has arrived on earth and is staying at the house. There is one scene I recall where you see it in a bedroom, laying on a bed...it is humanoid in shape (head, 2 arms and legs etc), but it's body is made up of entirely of bubbles of different sizes???!!! Also, I think it may have had a symbol of a star on it's forehead.
That's all I remember, anyone have an idea what this was?
Thanks.
