I watched An Englishman Abroad at the weekend as well as Philby, Burgess, Maclean.

Since then I've neglected work, failed to wash and shave and lived off bread and dripping as I've searched for A Question of Attribution.

Apart from one ebay NTSC video located in deep Ohio I can't find it anywhere.

Can anyone help get me back on track?

I believe that even deepest Ohio has electricity now - and they even have a mail service if the pony isn't too tired

Yeah but deepest West End of London doesn't have a video machine that likes NTSC tape.

Why not? Everybody else in the UK does

Any VCR bought in the UK in the last 15 years or so can play an NTSC tape.

If it was bought in the last 10 years or so it should handle the colour correctly as well. The first few that could play NTSC tapes would show colour NTSC tapes in B&W

I've got a vhs copy of this. James Fox is good as usual, but Prunella Scales really blew me away as the Queen. She's amazing!

When Prunella did the stage version a few members of the Royal Household went to see it. Afterwards they said that when she came on stage she had captured HM so well that they almost automatically stood up

She is amazing in the part. And it's not just an impersonation. It's a clever role that needs someone who you believe could be clever enough to follow all the double meanings and implications.
