Musing on the End of the World (the Swiss super-duper collider thingie) I remembered a Japanese comedy about a tutor who is hired by a family to teach their dim-witted high-school aged son.

The tutor ends up dominating the family. I seem to recall the film ended, slightly improbably, with the onset of thermo-nuclear war. Saw it a long time ago on Japanese TV, maybe about the time of Tampopo, the noodle film. It had me in stitches.

    Anyone know it?
