Red tape? Last nights programme showed one of the trawlers having to throw cod back, dead or alive, because they are not allowed to sell it under present rulings................sustainability........... yet the nets were bulging with cod.![]()
I know trawlers are bigger now but when you see old photos of docks bulging with trawlers, creating employment for communities and then see what we have today. I don't know the full facts but it appears to me once again a government didn't stand up for its people.
