Here's another one, if anyone can help,

Saw this in the eighties a couple of times, it was the kind of kids film that would be on a bank holiday or saturday daytime. It was feature length cartoon that i think was set in Australia or maybe the American south.

It was about either a boy or an animal that had to travel across the country, alot of it was on a steamboat(maybe) there was definately part of it set in a forest with a haunted ghost train and part with a hot airballoon.

At a guess i would say it was made in either the 70's or 80's, oh, and there may have been a sidekick or somebody guiding the main character. And it might not be british at all.

Could it be Around The World with Willy Fog, an eighties animated series based on Around the World in Eighty Days?
