Don't know if Mr Grant has been mentioned on this thread before (probably he has somewhere), but having recently watched a selection of On the Buses clips courtesy of YouTube (and loving Bob's lecherous remarks, wicked laugh, and those enormous chompers), I got to thinking about what a sad end to this actor's life - reinforced only the other week on ITV's Comedy Classics programme which featured Ruth Madoc's plea asking for Bob's safe return (it transpired he had travelled to Ireland with the plan of committing suicide). Sadly, things weren't to get any better and he was successful in his quest some years later. Lack of work was given as a contributing factor.
I was just wondering if any forum members ever met Bob, have any interesting stories, or, like me, you enjoyed his performances etc etc.
