In the evening,I am quite contented with a few pints of Ice Cold Carling beer.

During the day, fridge tempered water from the bottle (I top up a bottle from the tap). I rarely drink alcohol during the day,not even out when I'm walking (alcohol is the last thing you need),in fact it was Christmas Day when I had alcohol before nine in the evening. I think working in the trade and being in a club on an afternoon put me off going out for a drink. Life is too short to be spending afternoons in a boozery.

From an article in 1982: REED ALL ABOUT IT

"Ask him what he drinks, and he'll say 'anything that anyone's got the best of' - he's not always so discriminating, and one of his favourite tipples is an ice-bucket full of everything behind the bar. "

Thats what legends are made of.

I am, largely, teetotal (I get drunk way too easily)..but if I do drink I usually just drink wine.

I'm not a recovering alchoholic or anything(I can't even spell it)..I just got in to the habit of not wanting to have hangovers when I had a small child and so have always been pretty careful since.

I remember going through a malibu and pineapple phase. But they taste so nice you forget how many you have had!

George Duboeuf is a massive merchant. Their operations cover over six different wine growing regions in France spanning more than 500 miles and a multitude of grape varieties.

They also have a bit of a dodgy history

Which one is it that you like best? Have you tried any from Beaujolais?

I love a good red wine, but just lately I've been on Brandy and Peppermint. The nice thing about drinking at home is that you don't have to worry about how macho or otherwise your choice of drink is.

Also, I can't start the day without an espresso.

And you can wear what you like and not have some "amoeba" on the door telling you can't come in wearing trainers.

You serve your own drinks at the right temperature

I'm with you on the espresso.............Lavazza
