In the evening,I am quite contented with a few pints of Ice Cold Carling beer.

During the day,fridge tempered water from the bottle (I top up a bottle from the tap). I rarely drink alcohol during the day,not even out when I'm walking (alcohol is the last thing you need),in fact it was Christmas Day when I had alcohol before nine in the evening. I think working in the trade and being in a club on an afternoon put me off going out for a drink. Life is too short to be spending afternoons in a boozery.

Not being a drinker as I love driving,mine is J2O orange but my wife drinks Southern comfort with lemonade and also a Pimms and lemonade with fruit.And in the summer they are superb when not driving the next day.

I am, largely, teetotal (I get drunk way too easily)..but if I do drink I usually just drink wine.



I'm not a recovering alchoholic or anything(I can't even spell it)..I just got in to the habit of not wanting to have hangovers when I had a small child and so have always been pretty careful since.

I remember going through a malibu and pineapple phase. But they taste so nice you forget how many you have had!

I love a good red wine, but just lately I've been on Brandy and Peppermint. The nice thing about drinking at home is that you don't have to worry about how macho or otherwise your choice of drink is.



Also, I can't start the day without an espresso.
