How delightful to see George Cole in Heartbeat this evening, still going strong and giving a fine performance as an octogenarian con-man. Long may he continue.

If Mr. Cole was playing a character called 'Albert Hallows' then, according to IMDb, this episode of Heartbeat was originally transmitted in 2005.

Nice to hear an excerpt from "Mouldy Old Dough" by Lieutenant Pigeon. The writers won an Ivor Novello award

Cracking performance from Cole, but I thought Mouldy ol' dough was a 70's hit.
