Although a long time admirer of Witchfinder General I hadn't seen Michael Reeves' The Sorcerors until it was shown last weekend. Absolutely bonkers but a real gem I wish I'd taken the trouble to watch before. One scene uses the cabbies shelter in Russell Square and its been nagging me ever since because I'm sure it's been used before, maybe more than once? Can anyone help?

Does anyone know where this antique shop is located?

The phone number is PADdington...but that doesn't mean the shop is in Paddington, but it must be somewhere in London, W1 or NW1.

According to my London film location book it was filmed at 95 Lisson Grove, Marylebone.

Thanks a lot Vincenzo. That would make sense, especially as the shop has the number 95 on it.

What's weird though is that the 2nd photo, through the shop's window, looks nothing like Lisson Grove or its vicinity. Maybe they shot the inside of the shop from somewhere else.

The shop is still there and is Madeline Crispin antiques:

Madeline Crispin, 95 Lisson Grove, London

The view from the window appears to be looking down Broadley Terrace, not Lisson Grove itself, although the shops and buildings seem to have been demolished and replaced by a housing development as seen in the bottom left of this aerial shot:

    Thanks, Marty.

I thought it might be Lisson Grove, but the view through the window is what made me loose my bearings a bit. Boy, they really did a hatchet job on Broadley Terrace, didn't they?
