    I'm probably all alone in this opinion, but there's something about the music of The Mamas and the Papas that makes me want to go up a tower with a rifle.



    Admittedly the reverse of what the music is intended to inspire, but it does make me feel like that nonetheless.

    Dandelion, thanks for the tip on the Scott Walker Observer interview - very interesting read, but I must say his current recordings sound like more of an investment than I am prepared to make. Still I have four of his solo albums and a couple of Walker Bros. compilations so I won't starve !

    Yes, Hermans Hermits bring back a lot of happy memories of when I was a kid. I'm surprised no-one has covered My Sentimental Friend as I think it is a classic song which is calling out to be redone.


    Yes with all the way , Sentimental Friend is a great song.
