The slightly tricky answer to this question is Merle Oberon who was an Anglo Indian. There are quite a few current British/Asian actresses who have become fairly famous but I doubt if any other became a big star in Hollywood. She married Alexander Korda and became Lady Korda.
I think some people tried, years ago, to imply that an even more famous star, Vivien Leigh, was Anglo Indian but I think that was nonsense.
Financially, I would think our highest earner is probably Leicester-born Parminder Nagra, ex-Bend It Like Beckham, and about 120 episodes into ER....I'm guessing that pays pretty well.

Do you have an age range in mind? The aforementioned Zienia Merton is still active (and great fun if you get a chance to chat with her). Anna Chen is a very talented actress and writer who doesn't turn up on screen anything like as often as she should.
