When was the film made? Is it an old b/w film or a more modern effort?
I already posted this but cant find the thread so I thought I would post again.
British crime movie. Four guys all dressed in black suits with white shirts. The whole movie is about what goes on during the day they are supposed to rob a store. If I remember correctly, the beginning of the movie shows one of them getting their car stolen. One guy is a smaller blond guy. Another is a guy with a shaved head. And the other two guys are big guys, one black, one white. Please help me with. It is driving me crazy.

Rififi?
Not English, but....
It's probably not the answer you're after but the first film that comes to mind when you mention black suits is the American film 'Reservoir Dogs' (1992).
Dave.
FACE is another that springs to mind - Phil Davis as "small blonde guy" - but not an exact match
so nobody knows what movie this is?
name='bgbllr23']so nobody knows what movie this is?
We have supplied some possibles .... how about a bit more info. When was it made, is it in colour? That sort of thing would help.
Definitely in color. It has been made within the last five or six years I would think. A couple of other scenes in the movie that I remember: 1. Two of the guys go into a dry cleaning shop and end up killing the guy that runs the shop. 2. They go to a scuba diving place and end up seeing a guy that for some reason they end up chasing for a while and then beat him up.
I'm sorry its coming at you like this. I would just really like to see this movie again and it is coming back to me in bits and pieces.
When did you see it?
Where did you see it (theatre or TV)?
Any names (characters or cast)?
I saw it about a year ago at home on DVD. It was never out in the theaters here in the States. And I honestly have no idea any character names. Another thing I remember about it is that the whole movie, the blond guy is talking about a girl he met one night and how he was supposed to meet up with her and I thought they were going out on a date. It ended up that she worked at a store and the four guys went to rob it.
Thought I would see if anyone else could help me with this.
Sounds a bit like Thursday 1998 with Thomas Jane, but thats an American film.
Sometimes I hate looking a these forums as they start to do your head.
This is one. The part thats getting me is the dry cleaners as I have seen a film recently where the crooks trace back where some uniforms came from ,which turned out to be the dry cleaners.I think they were police or fire dept uniforms. And the film was American. It doesnt help that much but eases my headache a little.

Hi Just thought of another film called "Hero" but American. Please someone get this title as its doing my head in. thanks
lenny
Still trying to get this movie title. Thought a new group might be looking at this thread. Any help would be great.
Is the film you are trying to find Layer Cake (2004)? The only reason I say is that when you describe 4 men (one blonde, one black guy and two bald guys), that does match the description of this British Gangster film. The blonde actor was none other than future James Bond main man Daniel Craig. Hope this helps.
Nope. Layer Cake is not it. Good movie though. Wish Sienna Miller had a bigger role in that one since she is one of the best things to ever be placed on this earth.
could it be You're Dead (1999) - I remember the men in that dress up in black suits at one point and it is a British film.
Are you thinking of Face (1997) by any chance. Four guys pull a robbery then one gets greedy. Stars Robert Carlyle, Ray Winstone, Phil Davis & Steven Waddington.
No black guy as far as I can remember though and I don't think they wore suits either.
Nope. I checked Face and Youre Dead and its neither one of those. This sucks. This is one of those little things that I think about every day and its killing me that I cant remember. HAHA. Oh well. Anyone else?
