Personally, I've always liked I'll be Home for Christmas, with a male vocalist--Bing Crosby?--singing it. I also like Little Jimmy Boyd's I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus--and it makes only a rare appearance any more. When it made the Hit Parade, you couldn't go into a restaurant or drug store without hearing it.

I like a bouncy singalong so it's a cover of a Phil Spector ditty:

i like 'stop the cavalry' by jona lewis-i think it depends on what xmas songs you remember as a kid rather than how good the songs actually are!

I think the entire Phil Spector album is just perfect.

I like John Lennons 'Happy Christmas - war is over'.

These two I really like - I think they remind me of my great big hulking lad being a tiny tiddler getting excited about micro machines.

This one isn't the greatest christmas song ever - but it came out a Christmas and it was just right at the time. I thought it was an amazing effort from poor old East 17.

I hope we finally get to hear it at the Christ Church Christmas Mass in Oxford this year as sung by The (Vicar of Dibley) Christ Church Choir!
