Need title of 1970s TV Film

I am new to this site and in need of everyones knowledge.



In the 70s, I think near Christmas time, a British film was shown every year. The storyline involved an old house, a sundial and a girl that goes back in time, I believe Edwardian era, where she befriends the children there. She later finds out that they all die in the house in a fire so she returns and saves them. I loved this film as a child and am desperate to find out what it is called.



Can anyone help...please.
