Not Sure how many times Bo Diddley covered/re-covered his own material but I'm pretty sure it was more than twice !

name='Wicked Lady']I don't get Jeff Buckley. His music always makes me think of a luke warm cup of tea for some reason. But lots of people adore him, I know.

Russell Morris's version of I am the Eggman is worth hearing. Better than the original IMHO.

(I actually only like the one song) rest of it is rather boring

Everybody seems to be doing music threads these days, so I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon. That's what bandwagons are for, isn't it?

I'm kicking off with a video of still images, and yet its so good to look at for a host of reasons...

To clear up any confusion, this is a bandwgon. Just so you don't all go jumping onto the wrong vehicle.

I've got Don McLeans original album somewhere in my collection, and of course his original is great..........

I like the video that Madonna uses to go along with her version.......She has a good voice, and like i've said before, my musical tastes are very varied... and do include some of Madonna's songs...........

I would also say that 80-90% of the time originals are best, probably because they are more familiar to us, as we grew up to them.........

    Cheers

ha ha!! anything by that warbling attention seeking camera loving egotistical blob of facelift butter is ear poison to me! i'd like to 'cover' her with a large(it would have to be large) hessian sack and throw her in lake tahoe!
