Great scans of the campaign book, Stephen. But I wonder if any exhibitor actually bought 27/6d worth of Becket milk bottle tops and if they did, how did they arrange with a local dairy to put them on their milk bottles.

Very nice - a great deal of information I had not seen.

It is still one of my favorites.

I will give this another bump as I am watching it again. So compelling and beautifully acted and produced.

Indded. As Corman said in an interview, the sets had already been paid for by the Becket production. Corman only had to pay a few hundred quid for workmen to get the set pieces out of warehouse storage and assemble them on the soundstage.

In Hollywood, he would have been charged much more, as accounting procedures differ regarding the cost-sharing of existing set pieces. Which is why Corman loves making films in England.

If Corman used Becket sets for Masque, he would have to have had them shipped all the way from Shepperton to ABPC.
