torinfan, I salute you for starting this thread, sir. I'm not a huge fan, but did get caught up in the Giants' roller coaster last year ! When it comes to extra curricular(?) activities the NFL guys (Plexico for example) put the Premiership guys (Gerrard et al) to shame !

Baseball was actually codified some years before rounders. Is rounders a hard game? We played it at my junior school. What makes it harder than baseball?

Try wearing those while playing hockey on 'red grass' (aka gravel) if you want to see a really hard game. Just make sure there are paramedics standing by with tetanus jabs at the ready!
We had to play football on gravel, only proper school matches were played on green grass. Red grass? Red knees!
