I watched it in 1976 when I was 15, and still remember it well. Was shown at a theatre in London last year which isn't much use if you live a few hundred miles away haha.
Play for Today drama called the Jumping Bean Bag brodcast in 1976. This was a very influential play and changed me from a very conformist person to someone with strong rebelliousness tendencies. The next day at school was a very interesting one, culminating with a very angry interview with the head master. Although I only saw it once, the show hit a chord with me has remained in my thoughts for the last 33 years, something no other programme has done.

Thanks Hippie Dave.
Maybe it never really existed and we both are victims of a '70s autosuggestion experiment.
Cheers

Although it is over three years old, there is a little piece of information from the Barbican website at this address: Jumping Bean Bag + Glitter
DS. Thank you for pointing me at this. I have dropped the Barbican a line to see if they are considering reshowing this.

Loved this when I saw it - I must have been 14, though I thought I was older. To be frank, I was probably hoping for nudity ...
Is that the one where a girl says to her new public school boy: "The comprehensive boys are so much more ... comprehensive."?
Never saw Glitter - but that review form the Barbican ...

Toyah Willcox and Phil Daniels star as kids who break into a TV studio only to be caught by Noel Edmonds.
... never mind "Paranormal Activity", that is scary!
Was that one about the kidnapped rock star Dave Head about the same time? Maybe 1978?
