Last night I went to see legendary Dutch rock band Golden Earring in Ipswich. They were absolutely brilliant and it was a really enjoyable night. They are playing the Shepherd's Bush Empire tonight (Sat 14/3) so do yourself a favour and get yourself down there.

They did indeed ..... Twilight Zone was fantastic but the 20m version of Radar Love was out of this world.

20 metres, eh? That's quite a long song!

I think it's brilliant that a lot of the old bands are still out there performing live - there's not many current bands who can truthfully say that they can do that!

I saw them in the seventies....Lynyrd Skyrnyrd were the support act. Once Radar Love was done about half the audience left as they'd really gone to see Skynyrd.

I remember that tour. Unfortunately LS's bus broke down on the way to Norwich and they never made it. GE did an extra long set and the whole audience stayed to the end. LS promised to return but they went back to the US and their date with destiny.

    A Yodeler Writes...

    Yodel-ayee, yodel-ayee, yodel-ayee, yodel-ayee, pom-pah!

You've missed out two "yodel-ayee"s and an important anacrustic "om"

    just before the final "pom-pah".
