    This is the link:

Simply Movies, the new home of great entertainment.

Looking forward to Reach for Glory, I'm amazed at how many films from this channel I've been able to tick off my wants list. Most haven't lived up to expectations but that doesn't matter one jot!

Simply Movies is a fine channel but they have a very strange policy of cropping 4:3 material into 16:9. 'The Years Between' and 'Vicar Of Bray' looked awful cropped.

This is becoming more and more of a pain as they seem to be showing a growing number of pre-widescreen films

I agree about the unneccessary cropping of 4:3 material into 16:9. It wouldn't be quite so much of a problem if this channel had a higher output resolution and implemented the widescreen switching flag. Still, as long as I sit in the next room (LOL) to watch their zoomed-in films on my 42" plasma then it's not too bad I suppose - at least we get a chance to SEE rare British gems that other channels ignore.

If, like me, you haven't got Sky but you are fortunate enough to have the space for a dish, it is well worth getting a cheap "Free-To-Air" kit from somewhere like Maplin or Lidl and installing it yourself. As long as you've got access to the right bit of sky it's simple enough. If you're prone to vertigo, it doesn't even have to involve ladders - I've got my dish a few feet away from the back door, about 6 inches off the ground.
