I'm trying to remember a one off drama that I think the BBC produced in the mid-1980s. It was centred on a very successful and confident young man who I think was maybe director of a builidng contractors or some construction firm. He had a particular reputation as womaniser and seems to have a succession of one night stands in his trendy apartment until he meets a significantly older women and they embark upon an affair. I remember this being a quite unusual theme at the time. I can't remember any of the actors, alas.

A similar theme to the Daniel Craig film The Mother.

By the way, this was not the Helen Mirren drama Cause Celebre, which also had a young man / older women relationship.

Any ideas appreciated.
