What about the Stage, New York Times and the LA Times as they all cover this area.
Okay slight diversion here.
I collect film actors and crew obituaries and my favourites are:
Tom Vallance (The Independent)
Ronald Bergan (The Guardian)
But I am aways on the lookout for other sources.
Any recommendations

All of those plus the UK Times and the Telegraph

The Stage is quite good as they sometimes include "minor" obituaries".
The NY and LA Times, I find, are not as detailed as UK papers.

But where British people do get an obit in the NY or LA Times it gives an interesting "world view" on how the person was perceivedname='Mr. Denning']The Stage is quite good as they sometimes include "minor" obituaries".

The obit I have of Torin is from the NY Times, but written from an AP source. The description I suppose could have been world view - here in America though it's not common to say "rough looking." The preferred term is rugged, but whatever.
I only get the NY Times and I think they usually do a pretty good job.
Have you tried the Obituary Show on Radio 4, Friday afternoons at 4 pm, preceding the Film Programme. Last Friday, the 24th, they carried the obituary for Peter Robinson, with Leslie Phillips commenting on him. I don't know if it's on listen again facility, but you can try the R4 web page.
Have just checked and it is available for last Friday, the title of the show is actually Last Word, just go to the R4 site and click on schedules.
