Hi , Does anyone remember a film or tv short that featured a man trying to escape prison, he'd made an arrangement with the prison doctor to break him out of his coffin after being pronounced dead, then he turns round in coffin, uses his lighter or match and finds out the doc had died and had been buried next to him.

    Think this was Final Escape.

Yet another success for our Euryale!

You can edit out those ugly-looking x22s from such links without any problems you know. Thus:

The Alfred Hitchcock Hour: Final Escape (1964)

    Congratulations again.

P.S. Just noticed the cast list for that episode. By an extraordinary coincidence, I mentioned Stephen McNally earlier in David Carradine's obituary thread. He played the same part in the original Johnny Belinda 20 years earlier. Also of note: Edd 'Kookie' Byrnes, from 77 Sunset Strip (the inspiration for Henry Winkler's Fonz in Happy Days), PLUS Robert Keith (father of Brian) and Bernie Hamilton, the boss of Starsky and Hutch ... and occasional Luis Bunuel actor!
