    It was Ramsbottom a snake with a thick West Yorkshire accent.

    I'm of an older generation it was Harry in my day.

    I have a photo taken with Harry and a giant Sooty on the south pier Blackpool, my one brush with celebrity.

    Ah, of course! He was a bit of a depressive character as I recall for a children's tv show, sounded a bit like Joe Gladwin.

    Oh yes. Sweep was always my favourite - there's a certain hopelessness about him. Much better than Sooty.
