Can anyone help name this one.

A woman moves to more modest digs as finances have become tight, but she takes all the staff with her - maybe newly widowed. The butler secretly supports the household finances. I think it turns out in the end that the woman knew about the butler's activities all along. I saw it on a B&W TV so don't know if it was B&W or in colour.

    Thanks.

Probably not the one you had in mind. Fitzwilly (1967) Dick Van Dyke, Edith Evans. A butler organizes the staff into a crime syndicate to keep up things for his lady employer.
