Please do feel free contact me for an entire list of the rarities I have for trade.
It is the Delaney program and "Me! I'm Afraid of Virginia Woolf" that are priority for the book.
I would appreciate any help.
Hello everybody,
I am trying to track down 3 programs for research on a book I am writing about British TV and Cinema.
They are;
Shelagh Delaney's Salford (Ken Russell, 1960) (Indeed *anything* with Shelagh Delaney)
Me! I'm Afraid of Virginia Woolf (Written by Alan Bennett, 1978)
Doris and Doreen (Written by Alan Bennett, 1978)
For me, it would be best to send them via an online storage unit, as opposed to disc - and if need be I will send something as a 'trade'.
As per my own rarities I have episodes of "For The Love of Ada" starring Irene Handl, "Ending Up" starring Googie Withers & John Mills, "First and Last" featuring Patricia Routledge and various other programs.
Please contact me via a private message.
Kind regards.

After the recent 2Entertain Mike Leigh set and Network's Jack Rosenthal tribute, I hope someone at each distributor is aware of their Alan Bennett catalogues - they could easily do two superb boxes featuring the six LWT plays from 1978-9 and the BBC plays (A Day Out, Sunset Across the Bay, and the 1982 series). I know they all survive, as they were screened at the NFT's Bennett tribute a few years back.
Maybe they're planning something to coincide with the premiere of his new play next year? We can but hope.
