Well it's great to have you back Lord Brett, and I wish you all the very best.
Carl.
Hello everyone!
So not long after my last posting last Friday, when I was explaining why I hadn't been around due to a bad attack of gall stones, I was carried off in an ambulance after an even worse attack left me prone on the kitchen floor at work.
I've been in hospital ever since, as apparently something had got infected, and I just got out yesterday evening. After being blasted with strong antibiotics I'm a normal colour again (I turned a similar shade of yellow to characters in The Simpsons) and am now just a bit knackered.
Anyway, it's good to be back!

Good to see you're out of Hospital LB, just in time for your Birthday.
Take it easy.....
A trip to hospital in an ambulance sounds traumatic, welcome back Lord Brett and glad you are on the mend.![]()
Thanks everyone. Yes, the ambulance ride wasn't much fun - I felt every bump, but was wanting the thing to go quicker at the same time. On the plus side, I can recommend morphine!
Welcome back Lord B. Gallstones, Ouch! Get well soon.
Welcome back,my lord - hope you're on the mend soon.

I've had a few emergency trips in an ambulance. More when I was a youth, I had a season ticket to the local A&E departmentname='Lord Brett']Thanks everyone. As for morphine, I had some when my appendix burst. I found it to be effective, but quite rough. There are smoother ways to get insensible

Hi Lord Brett
I'm very sorry to hear you've been having such a rough time of it. I hope the worst is all behind you now and you can concentrate on resting up and getting well again. Take care.

How terrible for you. I had a similar experience a few years ago. Glad you're well enough to come back.

There was indeed. No longer around unfortunately, due to the early death of writer/singer/bassist Mark Sandman in 1999.

Well, heroin for one
That's why it was created, because it's gentler than morphine.
There are also a lot of less addictive compounds
