name='dpgmel']Had the same e-mail from them yesterday regards The Damned

According to the Radio Times, The Damned is being shown on Friday 16th October at 2:05 am. (well, technically Saturday morning). I'd imagine they'll use the same print as last time.

I wonder why Sony's DVDs Life at the Top and The Pumpkin Eater are also being held back? They were due to be released tomorrow and have now been held back until next Monday (26th Oct.). I believe neither of these DVDs come's with an information booklet, so I can't understand the delay.

I am a first-time customer with MovieMail and I am very unimpressed with this constant date-changing. Why the hell did they advertise a product as being available when it was clearly months away from being ready? The bollox about it being delayed by the printing of the booklets is just silly, the thing must have been edited months ago and the actual printing wouldn't take more than a couple of days - tops. Personally I smell a rat, and if and when Yesterdays Enemy and Camp on Blood Island ever turn up, I will not be ordering again

yip, boils me too. Why dont they just advertise it as "Coming in the next 5 years or so" Instead of changing the date every few weeks.

Why dont they get the blooming thing sorted, then when they have stock, put word out that they are releasing it in a months time. Why the hell tell people and get their hopes up just to keep knocking it on the head. Do you think maybe they had said it was getting released to see how many pre orders they got, therefore testing the water to see if it is worth releasing anyway??

I entirely agree with everyone's frustration. I've been looking forward to some of these titles myself, and frankly I'm surprised at a supposedly reputable company like Sony turning this into the farce it has become.
