I was really looking forward to this the other night as I had never seen it before, thinking it must be good with such a great cast and the storyline sounds funny.

I switched over within an hour, it was deplorable! Cheap laughs, and I never raised a smile once. Whether it got better later on I wouldn`t know.

Anyone else disapointed with this film?

I haven't seen this one, but I did see the original entitled Meet The Parents, and I can't say I was that enthusiastic about that one, if truth be known. I generally like Robert De Niro, but somehow his comedies don't do anything for me. But that's just my opinion.

    I really enjoyed it!

A great sequel to Meet the Parents. I thought De Niro was good in it too - a nice depature from his usual tough guy role.

Aparrently the studio only allowed it to be called 'Meet the Fockers' if the writers could prove that there was a family in the US called The Fockers - and there was!

There was only one joke in the whole film - and that was the schoolboy humour of the pun in the title

Yeah, the title is definately the funniest thing about the film!

You honestly didn't believe a movie called Meet the Fockers would be highbrow entertainment did you? I recommend Paul Merton's reworking of Galton & Simpson.

They made a real mistake there of putting a comedian in roles played by comedy actors. I would like to see the ones with Arthur Lowe and James Beck playing the Hancock and James parts, though I doubt they exist.

I liked it very much and I think that Meet the Fockers is even more funny than Meet the Parents... I love Robert De Niro and Dustin Hoffman

Just another unfunny US comedy to me, depressing to see DeNiro waste himself on garbage like this but for me his glory days are over (hope I'm wrong!), I don't like Hoffman anyway and it all ends up rather silly as most US comedies do

IMHO the best thing about both Meet The Parents and Meet The Fockers is the cat, Mr. Jinx!

Saw it a few years ago. I don't remember much about the movie itself, but I remember laughing out loud lots.

It was a terrible sequel. I enjoyed 'Meet The Parents', I thought it was a solid comedy film. But the follow up was full of cheap gags and yes I agree that the title of the film was by far the funniest thing about it.

Really? Even in "The Graduate" and "Midnight Cowboy"? I thought he was pretty terrific in those.

I haven't seen this film, though I didn't like the by-the-numbers comedy in "Meet the Parents." (And was the only one secretly hoping DeNiro would shoot the annoying Ben Stiller? LOL)

Not quite sure why De Niro's getting all the kicking.....

Wasn't Dustin the world's greatest acktor for a while ?

And what about Babs? People pay gazillions to see her in concert and there she was, shaking her sixty-year old booty....

I gather there's gonna be another movie called 'Little Fockers', so the steam-roller rolls on..... :-))

Anyone remember that scouse comedian whose whole routine revolved around

dem german fockers flying over Liverpool? ..........

Stan Boardman, a fine example to hold Meet the Fockers up against.

It seems that when De Niro tries comedy it usually doesn't work.

He's done it occasionally - like in The King of Comedy where he was supposed to be not very funny, that made it funny

He's good when other people are being funny around him - like in Brazil.
