Madmen plan to take over the world with invisible soldiers. Needing nuclear materials to perfect the invisibilty machine, they arrange to break a master safecracker (with the unlikely name of Joey Faust) out of prison and make him invisible so he can steal it. Faust, meanwhile, has other plans.
While certainly not one of Ulmer's masterpieces, the film is efficently done and undeserving of the Mystery Science Theater 3000 treatment it unfortunately received. Definitely more a caper film than the science fiction the title implies, though. Kennedy is a little too loud as the lead, but Griffith and Triesault give their usual reliable performances.
