Movie that rolls along trying to be Film Noir, melodrama and outright horror and doesn't really succeed at any of them. Cast are good and the always delightful Karen Allen gets to do more in the role than she usually does. Despite the adult themes and content, this feels like a TV Movie and Columbo should show up at any moment.
