| A series of macabre deaths linked by coincidental appearances of titular beastie. American journalist passerby investigates. Somewhat dull retelling of Poe, a surprise from this director, although during the frequent lulls in the action, one notices thatFulci is a much better director than he gets credit for. One of Fulci's favourite victim's, Daniela Doria, goes out perhaps not quite as gratuitously nastily as usual. |
