The Bonfire of the Vanities

1990

Brian DePalma
Director
Warner Brothers
Studio

A New York City bond trader gets himself into trouble when he becomes involved in an accident with his mistress in the Bronx.

Based on the controversial Tom Wolfe novel of the same name, this movie - which boasts a very impressive cast - also turned out to be a critical and box-office flop in 1990. Personally I am not ashamed to boast of my love for the movie.
