Baseball fanatic Montgomery Brewster is an unlikely heir to a massive fortune, but in order for him to get his hands on it he must pass a 'test' as per condition of the will: he is given $30,000,000 and must spend it within one month without having anything to show for it. If successful, he will inherit the full amount of $300m. Naturally with a storyline like this it is easy to be intrigued, and admittedly there are some genuinely comical moments. Unfortunately the film suffers from a stiff cast and doesn't make the most of the potential with the idea of the script. This is a re-working of the 1945 movie with the same name. |
