| Caesar and Cleopatra do their bit to improve Romano Egyptian relations.
Lavish (VERY lavish for wartime English film) telling of Bernard Shaw's play provides a great vehicle for Claude Rains and Vivien Leigh. The end result has dated badly though with Cleo coming off the worse for it. Carry on Cleo is to my mind still the best version of these events. |
