| Ex-convict Max Cady (Robert Mitchum at his finest) is released from incarceration after 8 years and promptly begins to terrorise the lawyer (Peck) and his family (Bergen & Martin) whom he holds a grudge against for his conviction.
Bason on the novel 'The Executioners' by John D. MacDonald. Remade in 1991 with three of the principal cast (Mitchum, Peck and Balsam) surviving for cameo appearances. |
