Not very good follow-up attempt to create a TV show finds Cap trying to keep a vaguely-defined supervillain from premature aging the city of Portland, Oregon (an effect apparently too expensive to show).
Benefits from Christopher Lee paying the bills, but let down by a flaccid plot using the trope of the hostile town with a dark secret. This device was overplayed in all 80s TV shows, and was only ever effective when the town was called Black Rock. Would have been interesting to see if Captain America became a TV show, but if this an example of what weekly episodes would be like, it’s probably for the best it never happened.
