| Complex story of a Las Vegas casino boss who is totally committed to his job, whilst trying to keep his adulterating wife happy and avoiding the pressure from the mobsters who are looking to grab a piece of his action. Contains scenes of extreme violence (head in a vice) and some incredibly smooth directing from the master Scorsese in what is without doubt one of his most accomplished works. ~ The Lord Good grief is it really 10 years already?! Las Vegas gets the Scorsese gangster treatment. The results are colourful and violent (occasionally eye-poppingly so). Awesome. Not for the weak stomached.
