| Five years after (in terms of storyline) the elderly folk of St. Petersburg left for eternal life on the planet Antarea, they return to help recover the last remaining cocoons from the ocean for their new friends. But the reuniting with fellow friend Bernie (who stayed behind voluntarily before) costs one of them their life as their healths begin to deteriorate back on Earth.
Tremendous turn out from the original cast who all return for this unfortunately-average sequel. See also Cocoon (1985). |
