The Extra Day

William Fairchild
Director
British Lion
Distributor

Production Company

Last reel of finished film gets lost on way to studio, so all the extras need to be collected again for a reshoot.

Slight but pleasant comedy has its moments, mainly in the boxing segment, but too much of it is uninvolving, and there is only so much Dennis Lotis one can take. An odd veering from comedy into a Make Way for Tomorrow subplot early on is also a bit jarring, and the romantic chemistry is lacking throughout.
